Ann Arbor Summer - Marigold

The flower traditionally associated with auspiciousness in India. Many Indian doors are adorned with garlands made of marigold and mango leaves alternating each other. The flower is also used in ceremonial Hindu worship.

Aaj kal to Matunga bhi jaana nahin padta hai...Lokhandwala mein bhi mil jaata hai...

the same one i brought to office last year...remmeber the Nikon one...of course, now it's konked because i screwed it while i was canoeing...pani mein doob gaya...so searching for a new one...any recos?

the closeup is beautiful.
indian marigolds look a little different, don't they?
more compact, especially when they're being used for anjali or malas - dried up and closed in. ganda, we call it here.

Yea...in fact, Sandeep above was also driving towards the same comment...rhe Genda, as it is known is the 'Safari Orange' type of Marigold...kinda different from this...

In fact, tell you what after seeing all these queries let me do another post on Marigold!
